Join us as we examine our context, lives, and relationships through the colonizer/colonized paradigm. We'll explore the characteristics of colonization and the way these impact society and culture. What are the ways colonizer whiteness impinges on the lives of colonized peoples, and how are we complicit in the perpetuation of colonizer whiteness? We will consider means to counter colonization and support decolonization, self-actualization, and self-determination of colonized people with readings, activities, and discussion.
This workshop will be hosted by St Louis Park Community Education.
