Join us at Lenox Community Center in Saint Louis Park for this 2-part workshop April 3 & 10. Please register through Saint Louis Park Community Ed via the button below.
In this interactive workshop we will explore the meaning and pervasiveness of racialized assumptions, expectations, images, values, and beliefs—their origins, purposes, and dispositions. From an abstract definition to vivid depictions, we will examine what the white racial frame looks like in ourselves, local settings, community, workplace, and agencies, and how it creates a white-normed culture. We will do some workshop-related reading and journaling between sessions.
