Conversations on Race

12:30pm CST / November 21 & December 19, 2021 / on Zoom

Join us for Third Sunday Forums: Conversations on Race, created for contemporary congregations. These discussions will provide a space to thoughtfully reflect on the reasons why we are still talking about race today. We will discuss the following questions:

  • How does the US racial legacy, including origins, foundations, and operations, inform and influence our behavior?

  • How do the ongoing consequences and human costs of our racial legacy hinder the possibility of reconciliation and community?

  • How do we as people of faith begin to acknowledge and address this racialized legacy within our families, communities, and congregations?

  • What can transformation mean––what does it look like to transform racial arrangements and practices toward a Beloved Community

In these timely conversations we shall attend to historical commemorations and current issues as they relate to the ways our racial legacy is manifesting in our historical moment. RSVP for one or both of our Conversations on Race using the link below. Use the donate button to give a free will offering (suggested donation $15).
